“Twilight Splendor”
By Daniel F. Heuer
The day’s end is near now, and the warm late fall colors reflect so, as the big bull moose walks proudly among the wooded forest. This big bull is truly the “emperor of the north” as he walks boldly where ever it is he wants to go. The glow within the woods prompted me to name this rendition “Twilight Splendor”, and the setting sun reflects those beautiful late fall colors. I have seen only two moose in the woods in my life time, both experiences were a quick thrill, as neither of them stood very long. It certainly was a memorable moment for me personally, and it was a very long time ago I had this privilege. I enjoyed the challenge and process of trying to recapture this moment in time, from a time long ago for me. I hope that those of you who elect to hang this on your wall, enjoy it as much as I did in creating it.
