- This Decoy is from my (deceased) 96 year old fathers estate and Duck Decoy Collection.
- Hand Carved and Painted by Danny Lee Heuer, out of Michigan High Ground White Cedar, circa 1985.
- Approximate Size; 17 1/2" long by 6 3/4" high and 7 1/2" wide, a magnum full size working decoy.
- This Black Duck was hunted over for 5 seasons and then retired to Dad's early growing decoy collection.
- As with all of his working decoys, we were given strict orders not to shoot to close to these beauty's for obvious reasons.
- This magnum sized and style of carving became Dad's trademark, as his cedar decoys always rode the water realistically.
- A must have bird for that serious decoy collector, and would make a great addition to anyone's collection.
