The little koala boy enjoys his ride, as all little boys dream of being an engineer on a big locomotive, and the twinkle in his eye shows he is no different.  This imaginative piece is a special request from a collector who wanted to have a koala subject for his wife for a birthday gift.  I was asked if I could come up with something special for her, and make a major departure from wildlife art.  This illustration is my answer to his question, and I must say that I thoroughly enjoyed creating this special piece for my friend and his wife.  I hope that those of you who elect to own a copy of it will also share in this enjoyment and possibly help brighten your little boy's dreams, as he shouts “All Aboard”, engineering his own train.
